    @redsoxstats Nicholas Judice (traded to the Red Sox with Richard Fitts and Greg Weissert for Alex Verdugo) is making his professional debut in the FCL today. He was an 8th round pick by the Yankees in 2023.

    Rafaela is 4 years older than Chourio. Corbin Carroll having two bad months is a big reason for concern after his previous 190 games??? You really handpicked your sample size there adding in Singleton and Kingery.

    Way up? If he could hit 750, it'd be fine for the extension as it might meet the ARB projection. Anything less is throwing money away.

    The expectations are that he would be paid 750k for the next 3 years. If he went to ARB, he's not getting 8M for his current production or even 1 fWAR.

    Why extend him for near Strider money? Doesn't make sense. Why extend Rafaela if he hasn't shown he can even hit at the MLB level? Glove first guys are cheap as Hell.

    Yes, no Spring Training and has 7 starts with only 1 bad start (3 IP, 6 ER that is skewing his stats).

    The Speier article from last week listed some of the concerns: bad defense, platoon bat that can't hit decent velo or breaking balls.
