  1. I was thinking if they were both on the same team per what moon had posted (KC at DH, Masa in LF) not whether KC was in AAA or not.
  2. I think there is some positive regression for the O's. Alonso and the new players probably don't have to make up a full 14 games, Are they already closer to the 91 win '24 squad? IDK.
  3. I'd play Campbell in the OF before I'd put Masa out there. Not that Masa is bad, but that Campbell has been decent out there in short stretches.
  4. He'll play a lot of OF in ST with Anthony, Duran and Abreu at the WBC.
  5. Is there a benefit to having cartoonishly negative posters around? Does it make the conversation better? Does it provide better info?
  6. LOL wut? Show me the posts.
  7. I don't like Cease. Okamoto is a big question mark. Springer is going to take a huge step back this year. I don't see the Jays winning the division this year. Would I be shocked if they missed the playoffs? No.
  8. Send the Astros back to the NL where they belong.
  9. Bring back the 154 game seasons!
  10. They've never been more united and the poor, poor owners who can't afford the players have stocked away $2.25B in a strike fund. They NEED a cap though because they don't have enough cash. Where'd that $2.25B come from? Who knows? The reporters don't care because if they make too many waves they'll lose access.
  11. For one year of Hoerner? Not a chance!
  12. The defense was notably better (at times) last season. Still work to do. My favorite part was whenever Narvaez was behind the plate, except for the interferences.
  13. Other notes from Andrew Parker so far (currently at JetBlue): Cason will be debuting as a position player in '26 Holobetz added a bullet slider and adjusted his changeup grip Brannon added muscle Neely has been up to 95 in his bullpens Ehrlicher now up to 96
  14. The bad defense made my bourbon budget go up too high.
  15. Then the playoffs are expanding to 16 teams and the regular season no longer really matters TBH.
  16. Might be? Brannon has more raw power, but Romero has shown much more in game power than anyone else in the system. The only other guys in the org with plus power are Justin Gonzales, Mason White, Luke Heyman and DSL guys who all haven't shown it professionally yet. Not a lot of big bats coming this way.
  17. I would go back to a strict AL vs NL league where the two don't meet. Build in real rivalries again. You can get rid of the divisions and have the top two AL teams skip the Wild Card round.
  18. What's the point in eliminating the distinction? The NFL has the AFC and NFC and 32 franchises. Why get rid of one of the last things that ties you to MLB's history? Does Manfred even like baseball?
  19. With the ongoing health concerns we've had with IFers the past several years, I think IKF is more important than Andujar to this team's roster.
  20. Since they did away with short season ball, yes. A few years ago, maybe not. He needs to at least go there for a few months IMO. There's a lot of young and inexperienced players at AA now. The product isn't as good as it was a few years ago.
  21. Hard to really compare the two players TBH. They don't serve the same purpose on the roster.
  22. I'm just going to change my vote in the poll every day.
