  1. BOS 2026 Sogard Era 4th fWAR 1st BABIP 2nd AVG 3rd OBP 7th SLG 4th OPS 7th wRC+ 2nd 1b 5th 2b 1st 3b
  2. Tyron Guerrero: 6.75 ERA 3.15 xERA 2.70 FIP 1.06 xFIP
  3. Cora and Breslow should have handled it like adults too TBH.
  4. Devers said that he didn't want to be thrown into the position right away and look stupid during the regular season. SF eased him into it. Now he's the fulltime 1b.
  5. Yes, but simple reluctance to switch positions wouldn't have caused JH to want him traded directly after the meeting. Something specific must have happened in the meeting.
  6. Lat tightness. Getting a precautionary MRI. Not deemed serious. 😄
  7. They greatly increased his IP last season and just figured it'd be fine. Ridden hard and put away wet.
  8. Casas is still an unknown is is just out. No timetable. No baseball activities. Romy is working his way back. The plan is June barring setbacks. LOL. Sandoval. C'mon man... Crawford has no change in timetable, but is dealing with flexor soreness so who knows. I wouldn't count on him even if he starts pitching in WOO.
  9. Now that girls softball is over, I should be able to watch more as long as they are not trying to inflict psychic damage on me.
  10. Must be the kiddie pool here! Thank you for the compliment.
  11. Thank you? I guess? 😵‍💫
  12. Rafaela started off the season with a down season in CF (late reads, some misplays on balls), but has been back to normal this month. People in the free state of Florida gather LOTS of data. It's what they tend to do with it that can be the problem.
  13. Would you like it if we called it budget versatility?
  14. It was true though. They needed a 1b! It took the Nats having to DFA Lowe for the Sox to find somebody.
  15. Guys whiffing 2% more than league average: Story Duran Contreras Mayer Narvaez Of those guys, I'd really only call Contreras a slugger.
  16. MIL #1 Soft Hit % #1 GB % #3 BABIP # SB #1 cClutch #2 Clutch #1 Adv% They are very high in categories like productive outs, moving runners over and base runners scoring. Milwaukee works high counts. The Sox are low in those categories. They are getting the runners on, but not doing anything with them. MIL can string together big innings. BOS can't.
  17. No, that happened directly after the John Henry/Devers meeting in KC. I don't know what Devers did, but that was the tipping point for Devers and the franchise.
  18. I want an offense with some high SLG guys and some high OBP guys. I want a mix of both to keep the train running on time.
  19. Does Durbin need the big boys to still do a shoe check for him and make sure his cleats are tied at the start of every game?
