    KC is trying to build a new stadium. Dumping your franchise player while doing so is really bad for business.

    I think it's less about getting the fanbase geeked up and more about driving the Neto price up with other teams.

    I think if we're hearing about potential deals now from leaks, that they are probably not likely to happen. All the deals that Breslow has pulled off have been radio silence and surprises to us.

    If Neto was a premium player, I'd include Eyanson.

    The troubling part is the guys that are closest (Arias and Eyanson) are the two top prospects. Teams want guys with proximity to MLB. Other guys in AA and above have little value.

    If they acquire Neto to be 2b, I'm fine with it. There are other moving parts that they'll have to deal with at some point (Story, Mayer). I wouldn't give up Eyanson, Arias or Primera in the deal. Any other prospect is available. I'm only dealing those 3 if a superstar is coming back.

    Because of sentence #2, I'm just not super interested. I'm not moving top tier prospects for him. He's not a SS.

    It can get expensive for sure. She's never asked for a $400 bat. It's not really her thing. I'm just enjoying it while it lasts and trying not to get too beat up whenever I'm catching behind the plate.

    I coach my daughter's softball team. It's great to turn your brain off and just love the game again like I did when I was that age. When I see that there are parents online talking about the apps they use to track their kid's OPS, it's really wild to me.

    People put Chris Davis up there as well, but at least he stayed on the field for a few years and hit bombs. Also there was the "Did Chris Davis Strike Out" tracker that was entertaining. Baseball can be fun without having to justify everything through WAR IMO.
