    About the same TBH. If they are a flyball hitter at Fenway, but can't go oppo, it really hurts them. HR's are really reduced at Fenway for LHB, but 2B's are increased due to the Monster and the expansive RF.

    So what's the problem? Starting today, this team is going to go 35-21 down the stretch but aren't contenders? That's a 101 win pace from here on out!

    Top 6 wRC+ guys from last season: 1. Devers 2. Anthony - injured 3. Refsnyder 4. Bregman 5. Romy - injured 6. Lowe 4 of the top 6 were not on the 2026 team. The remaining 2 got injured. The 7th is Duran. 🤮 That's actually bigger shoes to fill than just "Bregman and scrap heap" TBH.

    Like Gasper? They have to sign AAA guys. Those guys end up playing on the MLB roster here and there. Not everyone they sign will be an All Star. IKF had his best offensive season and played his normal good defense before getting hurt. I don't see where the problem is?

    Getting to 14 under .500 was a bad idea, right? It would have been better if they won a few extra games early on by having a better offense?

    LHB with pull power who probably needs to play LF. Big hole in his swing. He's probably not a 70 surplus guy considering he arb raises he's about to get.

    Fabian Bonilla was the only HS hitter drafted last season and he didn't appear in any games. He had surgery this offseason. Not sure if that played into it at all. Cason was drafted in '24 and didn't play at all. Same with Yan Cruz. If you are a legit college hitter, there's a high likelihood you are going to get into a game. If you need to be assigned to FCL next season, you are out of luck.

    You think, "little a" deserved it just because he had exit velos and hard hit rates that rivaled the best hitters in the game while showing great patience at the plate? That's the guy you see as deserving of holding a bat every day? 🤔

    They had a player that needed to play every day, but was sitting on the bench. If they traded Duran for prospects and started Masa every day, they would have been better off for it.

    Shouldn't he be checking in on guys from every team TBH? A lot of the reports that come out around now are basically just "Red Sox like players that are good at baseball."

    The good stretch started on June 25th. It really hasn't been 2 months. They did lose 2 games in COL and were 14 games under on June 24th.

    LHB pull hitter at Fenway. Abrams doesn't have the massive power that Schwarber has, so he'd lose a ton of HR. Not really interested. His name has been leaked so much that I don't think Craig is interested either.

    Until they replace him with somebody better. Romy isn't hitting, so Masa has to play every day.

    Even the dirt worst teams in the league win 33% of the time. I think expecting a sweep is too much. 4-3 on this road trip is an absolute win.

    He could look like early season Durbin and not get to June/July Durbin until next season or maybe not ever.
