    Not many good arms to promote from Portland. That roster isn't very good this year. All the good arms are still in Greenville and Salem except for the bullpen arms in Pawtucket.

    @PortlandSeaDogs Sea Dogs Roster Moves Trevor Kelley and Matt Kent to @PawSox Kent starts 11 AM game for Pawtucket. ADD: RHP Harrison Cooney from Salem…INF Chad De La Guerra activated from the disabled list. Austin Glorius is still noted as being on Salem's roster, but I'm not sure if that's correct.

    My sweeping statement is that TS fights are no longer enjoyable to read. Double thumbs down on this one.

    I think it's very normal for people to not enjoy opposing viewpoints. It's just human nature.

    I believe vendors are subcontracted out and the Sox only receive a % of the revenue. They don't pay concession salary.

    @ClearTheBases Change of plans: Matt Kent (aka @MK51Baseball ) scheduled @PortlandSeaDogs starter in Trenton, now listed as @PawSox starter for this morning's 11 a.m. game against Columbus. Filling in for Beeks. Maybe there will be more roster moves to come?

    They are trained scouts. They may be amateurs, but they are far more knowledgeable than any of us on here.

    I'd rather they held onto Beeks, but the injuries to ERod, Pom and Wright really forced their hand into making a move. Maybe DD sold high on another prospect?

    May as well DFA Kelly if you don't want him to pitch in a game against the worst team in the league.

    Or you can trade for him now and get him to start for you an additional start. Which makes more sense.

    But they actually go and scout the players that we can't see and do a really good job? It's not like other Sox scouts are putting out a free website talking about arm slot, loft, etc. We rely solely on stats to tell us how a prospect is doing. Their scouting goes above and beyond that since they see the players in person AND utilize advanced stats. If he needs to make the website a paid site, it would be in his right to do it. AND PEOPLE DO CONTRIBUTE MONTHLY TO THEIR PATREON WHICH SUPPORTS THEIR PODCAST. There was a person I was donating to on Patreon who ended up dropping his podcast because it was too time consuming and there weren't enough funds coming in. You realize people need to make money off the product they make right? It's just crazy that people don't appreciate all the hard work that goes into that sight. To complain about an ask for money is pretty ridiculous.

    @DavidLaurilaQA Trey Ball, a talented two-way player in high school who Red Sox drafted in first round as a pitcher a few years ago, is taking BP in Double-A Portland right now. Has had limited success on mound as a pro.

    I'd rather him spend 100% of his time working on catching now that Vaz is out.

    Kelly only pitched 1 inning. Velazquez was probably pitching tomorrow. I'm not sure Cora was expecting to be able to use Eovaldi tomorrow.
