    @alexspeier Moreland says he’s been ‘banged up,’ with soreness in his surgically repaired left knee. He said he couldn’t have pinch-hit last night, but thinks there’s a better chance he could today. Anticipates lineup return this weekend. Added this one as it has more info.

    @alexspeier Swihart ability to block balls in the dirt this week has been drastically better than it was in 2015-16. In '15, Red Sox thought he was reluctant to call pitches that were down because of blocking issues. Not so now.

    Guys similar to Kimbrel's level are available every offseason. Ben never made a move there. Not convinced he'd do one for Sale.
