Dion Jordan at #3 easily is the biggest reach in the first round. Manuel was a reach at 16 but there were rumors he would go in the late 1st round possibly. He's not going to start most likely as they have Kolb at the moment. idk why but I'd like to see the Pats roll the dice on the Honey Badger in the next couple picks if he's available.
  2. Humber is all kinds of terrible

Tyler Bray out of Tennessee could be interesting in the 3rd round or later.

I'm not overly excited about any of these QB's. But if they don't get one this year they should really be looking next draft for sure. And sorry didn't mean TE before the other needs, just one in the draft at some point.

Latest rumbling have the Jets thinking QB but willing to listen to offers for their early picks. I'm guessing they trade back into the late first round with one of the picks(9 or 13) and select EJ Manuel. Will Buffalo really reach for Nassib at 8? I think he's a good fit there but they need to try and get him later. There's no telling what New England will do. They need to find another big quick TE(I know it's not easy) because they need a viable go to when one or both of Gronk and Hernandez are out, which is a lot. This draft lacks start power but I'm thinking there could be some interesting trades to make the 1st round watchable.

  8. Enough to make it to when one of the other guys is healthy I would guess.
  9. Miller is what he is. When he's on he can dominate. When he's off it's ugly.
  10. Might as well keep the other team in the dark as long as they can I'm sick of the Aceves show. He's been given good chances and seems to just piss them away. He can not be gone quick enough imo. The Dodgers need pitching, Ben can do them a solid lol
  11. I don't have the stats but on Around the Horn yesterday or the day before Woody Paige mentioned something about Hamilton's slash line in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th spot in the lineup and his line batting 5th was much higher the 3 or 4. I don't know what the hell that means but it was an interesting fact.
  12. That trade was a win on so many different levels it's mind boggling.
  13. CC looks like a shell of his former self. He still has good pitches but can't get away with mistakes like he used to. Has he lost a lot of weight Jacko? He looked gaunt in the face last night.
  14. His 1B AB was bad, but he put together a few nice AB's after. It wasn't perfect but it looked to me like he was able to lay off some of the outside stuff. I saw enough last night to make me believe it's something he is at least working on.
  15. That's one of the biggest things I noticed to when I was watching. That combo is going to be good for him.
  16. lol when fred tells you you're reacting too quick on something it should set off warning bells in your head
  17. Webster flashed some brilliance in that game. His composure on the mound was good also. He's def one to look forward too. FB was 93-97 with a seemingly effortless delivery.
  18. lol this is such a ridiculous comparison I'm happy the past on Hamilton, although for the right deal(2-3 years, wasn't happening) I would have been ok with it. Nava has been good so far. But I'm not going to totally back him yet. I want to see him hold up over a whole season. By that I mean he's likely to come back to Earth at some point because he is not the reincarnation of Mantle. But if he finishes at something like .280 average and keeps the OBP up around .400 with 15+ HR I will probably be one that thinks they will need to find a full time role for him, most likely in LF.
  19. Same worries happened with Pedroia. Drew is behind when it comes to hitting after missing a lot of AB's in ST and the beginning of the season. I think Middlebrooks is trying to do too much. Seems to be pressing. I'm confident he will get locked in at some point. If he's hitting under .200 in late June, I will be more concerned.
  20. Meh a few of us said they weren't going to be that good, but I don't think we thought they be this bad. I'd have whip lash too if I was him. I can't believe people wanted him on the Sox
  21. Probably he does. But the Yanks have to seriously consider moving him from SS. And they better make it clear before he opts in. Turning 40 with that ankle he can't be considered an everyday SS anymore right?
  22. If anything going through guys the way she does statistically gives us normal guys a marginally higher % of getting some Swiftness, for that she should be Sainted.
  23. This is also a great time for Papi to return, guys are hitting and the team is winning so he is not pressured into trying to carry the team right of the bat.
