He's probably been throwing on the side and I'm sure he didn't stop running. If he went cold turkey and hadn't picked a ball up in two weeks I'd be more worried. Hopefully it works out. I think they will probably split the closer duties between Bailey and Taz that way Bailey doesn't throw on back to back nights.

I'm glad Bailey is going to be back, but i'm with you 700 I won't be holding my breath. It's not just because it's Bailey, I would most likely have some reservations/worry about any power arm returning from an arm issue.

Ya I thought about it a little more and the RF seat issue would be a size able job just to change the RF wall for safety reasons. Be nice to see them do something though. Fenway's RF wall is probably one of the more dangerous walls in most MLB parks. Some more padding at least.

I'd like to see them raise the wall like 3' and if that means moving the fences in a few ft to compensate for the hitters so be it. Having a fence at that height is the worst for players. The impact is similar to the "hospital pass" hit in rugby.And no I'm not a doctor, but I did watch Sport Science last night.

Yup fred losing sucks the big one. But it's why I enjoy the good times and don't sweat the small stuff when things are clicking. I stand by my prediction though this a WC caliber team. I think April they played above their heads and so far in May have played below. Hopefully over the course of the regular season it levels up and the talent should keep them in it. But ya the roller coaster ride can be rough on the nerves

It's been a rough patch lately. But I don't think the team is as bad as this(just like I didn't think they keep up the hot pace the set at the beginning of the season). The BP has been stung recently. Hopefully they are able to get their feet under them. And for f*** sake I'm so sick of tuning into a game and it's against the Jays... This schedule sucks donkey you know what, three series and its half way through May? That's ridiculous.
