    That lineup is really nice that 3,4,5 is really dangerous. I can't wait until April when the Bosox come into Toronto so I can go see that lineup in action. Baseball season can't some soon enough.

    This deal isn't going to be struck on Monday. It's going to be going down to the 11th hour on the Dec 14th deadline which is next Thursday so we will know if he's signing soon. I can't see why the Sox won't get this done though because Matsukaza wants to play in the majors and doesn't want to go back to Japan and the fact of what the Sox have done with J.D Drew I don't see why they can't work something out with Boras and Matsukaza this time.

    Not surprised guys like Meche and Dotel went to K.C seeing as how bad that team is these guys are going to be the star players there. Now the Sox will most likely go 100% full steam to try and sign Gagne.

    Dotel as a closer I dunno if im willing to put myself through that Horror. I still think Gagne is the best way to go for Boston.

    Ever since 2002 this guy has sucked. The Sox should get rid of him and try and get a decent arm out of it. I'm sure there is a team out there willing to give us something for Hinske. He will prolly be moved before Spring Training.

    Ok wow people are really making too big of a deal out of this. I really don't see how the Sox could have tampered with anything at all considering the Sox didn't know the market themselves. And who's to say J.D Drew just didn't want to play in Los Angeles anymore so he decided to leave. There was a reason that he had the opt out option in his contract. Honestly people need to stop crying. It can't be that bad if L.A didn't come right out and make a complaint to the commish when the Sox signed Drew. And it even if the Sox did talk to him the fact is he had an OPT OUT OPTION in his contract which means he can leave whenever he wants and if the money is better somewhere else then why is it wrong for him to go there. Honestly people you are just going to see there is no tampering and this is all just a huge waste of time.

    I can't see him agreeing to a deal with Toronto, Texas, or Cleveland seeing as how Toronto has Ryan and Cleveland is going after Borowski who im sure they would much rather have over Gagne. and Texas has Otsuka so I don't think they need him. Gagne has said he wants to close I can't see him pitching for anyone unless he is going to be the closer for them. The only logical team on the list is the Red Sox in which im hoping he does sign with us yea he would be a risk but if he stays healthy then he will be dominant.

    I hope so, you never know man look what the Sox did today in signing Drew and Lugo or at least agreeing to a contract with the 2 of them. Gagne could be next. PLEASE OH PLEASE MAKE GAGNE SIGN BY THE END OF THE WINTER MEETINGS.

    Wow I never thought the Sox would sign both guys on the same day. This is great news now the Sox need to focus on signing Eric Gagne or trading for another closer and signing Daisuke Matsukaza and this team will be an even bigger force next year. I would be scared if I was any team in the American League. The Sox could get alot more dangerous.

    Hmm now it's looking more like a 50-50 chance that Manny will be staying or going. Now it's looking like the only way the Sox are going to trade Manny is if they are blown off their feet by an offer from another team. Seems like Manny will be in Left in 2007.

    Awesome news now he has time to get back to 100% and hopefully we will see him in the rotation in 2007.

    Drew is a great pickup for the Sox. I don't know why everyone is so against the Sox signing the guy. Yeah it is alot of money, yea he might not be the healthiest guy in the world but he is a definite upgrade from Trot Nixon in right field. And who's to say he won't stay healthy and give us a great 5 years in Boston. I'm all for the Sox signing J.D Drew. And yea Manny Ramirez is a great player, but it's about time he gets traded. He just brings negative energy to the Red Sox and kills the team spirit. I don't care how many Homeruns the guy hits every year, all he ever does is whine about everything and always says he doesn't want to be here he wants to be traded, then you know what trade him and let another team worry about him. The only thing we are going to miss about Manny is his bat anyways he is one of the worst outfielders I have ever seen in my life. Yea Manny's bat will be missed but it's better than having him kill the team spirit.

    Good signing for Seattle helps to solidify their outfield and they got him for a decent amount too. Guillen is a good outfielder who will bring alot of help to the Mariners who we all know need any little help they can get.

    So then who's our last free agent option without making a trade Gagne.? Decent pickup for Cleveland.

    Wow this really is a year where teams are just giving out money. Kind of a big contract for a guy like Roberts who's getting older and isn't what he was in 2004. But I guess the Giants really wanted him with Barry Bonds most likely not coming back for 07 on the Giants.

    I dunno what it is but for some reason I have a feeling that the Sox are going to get Gagne. I dunno why though maybe it's because Gagne would prolly come at a cheap price considering his injuries and such. Mind you I'd much rather they didn't pick him up.

    The thing is the guy didn't even fail his physical so I say go after him. The Phillies were just worried about his shoulder so they didn't bother taking him.

    Wow that was a dumb comment considering that it takes more than one guy to take a team into the playoffs. The MVP should be the best overall player whether his team makes the playoffs or not.

    Maybe that money can be used to go after one Vernon Wells who we all know won't be going back to Toronto. I'd be up for the Jays going after him.

    Seems like a great signing for the Sox I've never seen the guy pitch before except in the Japan All Star series in which he looked good. But looking at the stuff the guy brings to the table he looks like he will be a great pickup for the Sox. Only time will tell.

    If that deal does go down then the White Sox are getting the steal in that trade. You get a young guy like Santana who has won 28 games in his first two years in the bigs has 240 K's in his first two years and has amazing stuff and is still what 23 and can only get better and better, and then you have Figgins who can easily steal 50 + bases in a year and has great speed and great range in the Field. Don't get me wrong Garcia and Crede are great players but the White Sox are stealing it in this one.

    If what he has done in Japan and the World Baseball Classic is any indication than yeah I would rather have Matsukaza than Wang anyday.
