I think im the last person in the world to hear about this all I can say is WOW i didn't see this coming at all. I honestly thought after the Sox got gonzo they weren't even going to attempt to sign Crawford. But im so glad that they did.

Good trade for the Jays in a way they know they aren't going to contend anytime soon in the A.L East so why not load up on young talent. I've seen Lawrie play and he's a beast for his age. He's gonna be a star on that team for many years. The Jays have some depth when it comes to pitching so im not surprised they got rid of Marcum.

I will admit I was one of the people bashing the FO the other day only reason is they stress me out but in the end they did the right thing. Now I just hope they can sign AGONZ long term.

Thank you my point exactly if the Sox aren't going to be willing to lock guys like this up for the long term then we can forget ever getting any high profile free agent like a Gonzalez or a Crawford or anybody for that matter you gotta be willing to do things you don't want to sometimes to get the big players you want. As of right now I have to agree I don't see Gonzalez coming to Boston if they aren't willing to bend on the years or money I don't see why they should be worried about what he's gonna be like when he's 38 they wanna win championships don't they? Well a player of this calibre will be a big piece of the puzzle on a championship team. Sometimes I really don't get the logic the front office uses. My opinion is we aren't going to see AGonz on the Sox simple as that.

Americans played one hell of a hockey game today I'll tell you that much. Now im hoping to see Canada beat Slovakia tonight and set up a Canada/USA gold medal game. That will be an epic game.

Im not saying that Lee will come cheaper then Beckett im just saying the money that would be put towards signing Beckett I would rather they save it and put it towards signing Cliff Lee I know Lee wont come cheap at all.

Pen looks solid this year. I can see Bonser getting a spot in there. And if Wake isn't in the rotation he'll be a good long man outta the pen. And hopefully Delcarmen can bounce back and have a good year too.

Goes through it's a great deal. Now with the signing of Lackey I can't help but think this is going to maybe open up a trade with San Diego for Adrian Gonzalez and then move Youkilis over to third have Gonzo at first.?

All I know is that if this goes through the Jays have just become the new Orioles of the A.L East they aren't even getting a proven major league starter in this deal. That team is all but dead next year. And I couldn't love it more.
