    Why are Yankee fans getting so excited about Clemens. The guy is 44 years old and even in the NL Central the last few years was what a 5 innings pitcher at the most. He's moving into the A.L East from the N.L Central which isn't that great of an offensive division. This guy will be lucky if his ERA is under 4 by the end of the year. He's old and should retire it's as simple as that.

    This is dumb I don't think they should open the season in Japan maybe have a different MLB team go there and play a few exhibition game a year or something but not start off the season in Japan. It's a horrible idea all together. Plus I don't want to have to see the game at like 4am.

    Wow what possesed the Braves to just give up Langerhans he really must have pissed someone off to just get dumped like that and then Oakland just got rid of him wow someone doesn't like this guy.

    Well whatever Clemens is a Grandpa now anyways. If he wants to be a little b**** and be a Yankee when he goes in then so be it. We don't need him.

    It would be stupid to just throw Lester right into the rotation the guy needs to be 100% ready to pitch at the major league level again which I don't think he really is just of yet. He needs to have complete command of every pitch that he has. The Sox may be stuck using Tavarez in the 5th spot right now and if he continues to struggle then try someone else like Snyder or something but then again he is no better that Tavarez this is all screaming for the Sox to sign Roger Clemens for the rest of the season. Wouldn't that be nice if they could get that done.

    Loving what were seeing from Beckett early on this year. Right now he is a beast and cannot be beat 6-0 to start the season. Good job by the bats tonight to get some runs off the Oakland pitchers thought they came out and had a strong game. Gonna be good to see Dice-K going for Boston tmrw night in that makeup game against Seattle hopefully the Sox can win that one too and continue their lead in the A.L East.

    Wow tragic story RIP Josh Hancock you will be missed by everyone. I wish all his friends and family all the best in this rough time they are going through.

    Well we got Schilling on the mound for us tonight and this is going to be a good game to watch it's just too bad that I can't watch it because I have night school to go to. But either way I'll keep checking the scores in the library somehow. GO SOX GO.

    I don't see any reason why Biggio shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame he is one of the greats to ever play the game of baseball.

    Yankees have injuries now but later on in the year they always seem to get all their guys back just in time to make the playoffs. But I dunno if with all their pitchers healthy are they even enough to carry this team. They don't seem like the same dominant staff the Yankees have had in the past. Time will tell.

    Well if Wake can get the knuckler working like it was in the last start against Toronto then the Jays are in some serious trouble. And if Ohka pitches like Ohka can then Boston will be scoring alot of runs. Gonna miss this game though I gotta work but thankfully I still own a VCR lol.

    AWESOME to see the Sox sweep the Yankees hopefully that is a sign of things to come against New York this year. Mats didn't pitch as great as we would have liked but at least he still picked up the W in this one to improve to 2-2. The bats were alive tonight that is for sure. Great to see Lowell get those two huge homeruns and the second one he hit was the biggest hit of the game for the Sox. Now they play Toronto for two starting tmrw night. With Wake going up against Ohka. Hope that Wakefield will duplicate what he did last time out against the Jays if he does then the Sox are going to win the game. GO SOX GO.

    I feel your pain man. When you gotta be up at 5:30 the 8 oclock games really suck.

    The single greatest thing I have ever seen 4 homeruns in a row. Dice-K hasn't pitched the greatest tonight but he also hasn't been horrible either. He can still get the win in this one the game is 4-4 mind you. Beautiful K of A-Rod right there one more out and then the bats go to work hopefully get some more runs here for Matsuzaka.

    Well either way this is going to be a good game. Dice-K gets his first start against the Yankees with Wright going on the other side the Sox have to win this one and sweep this series just to make it that much sweeter. Plus I wanna see Matsuzaka pick up his 2nd win.

    What a start by Beckett 4-0 with 25 K's he's looking great so far this year, hope he keeps it up and continues to pitch amazing.

    Great game this afternoon nice to see the Sox come from behind to beat Toronto. Now it's back home to face the Yankees this weekend going to be a good series.

    The thing that I love right now is the fact that none here in Toronto is talking about the Maple Losers anymore all the focus is on the Raptors the only real team that we have here in Toronto. GO RAPTORS GO.

    Wow losing Ryan and Glaus is a huge blow to the Jays. The Jays now have to use Frasor at closer and that's not a good thing. Even though he picked up a save tonight I really don't see him being effective for very long. I think he's going to run into trouble and start getting roughed up. As for Glaus the Jays have who John Macdonald to replace him for now. Once again not anywhere near the caliber of the player they lost. Hopefully for the Sox these guys miss more than a few weeks.

    Honestly Pena has proven that his bat is a big assest to the Sox lineup but it's his glove that worries me I feel that his defense is sub par at best. I think he needs alot of work in the field before he becomes an everyday player. And the homerun he hit tonight was a monster shot.
