    I have to say the Sox have the better deal by far we have Josh Beckett who is one of the top pitchers in baseball think about if we didn't have Beckett in the rotation that is 14 wins when he pitches so far this year. And Lowell hasn't been bad either he has been a pretty solid player for the Sox I mean otherwise it would prolly be Hinske over at third while he isn't bad I would still rather have Mike Lowell over there so I feel the Sox pulled off the better end with that trade.

    Well it wasn't that bad of a game the bats came alive near the end of this one and Taverez pitched really well. There were alot of positives in this one like Bobby Kielty's debut he had a great night and the way Gagne was able to come in and K three batters and not give up a run a big improvement for him of late. Either way the Sox played better than what the score was. We should bounce back in the next one.

    Well Texeria already had a huge impact for the Braves in his first game of the year with that big HR he hit in the game. Guy is going to be a HUGE pickup for them and is prolly what the Braves need to get back into the playoffs.

    This doesn't get any better Gagne to Boston.. Now we have the best bullpen in the league. We now have Okajima, Gagne, Papelbon it doesn't get any better than that.

    Yeah I agree with you if the Sox are going to trade Manny Delcarmen then they have to get someone who can replace him. They can't just trade a guy like Delcarmen and not pick someone up to take his place.

    Why would the White Sox just basically give up Iguchi he is still a solid player and can do alot for you at second base. Doesn't make sence to me I would have thought the White Sox would have gotten more for him.

    I can't stand the guy but I can't deny that he is an amazing player. I'd take him on the Red Sox any day.

    The Twins really got ripped off in this trade even though Castillo isn't a huge pickup but still the Twins got nothing for this guy.

    Wow this is a huge pickup for the Braves after trading Laroche and loosing his awesome bat they picked up another great bat in Texeria. The guy is going to add alot of power to the lineup.

    Good start tonight for Lester he looked pretty solid in this one and got the win great to see that hes back to form.

    Hmm sounds like the Sox plan on moving him but who knows.

    Just when I thought the Michigan Wolverines were actually going to make it to the College World Series, Oregon State has to come along and beat them out now I hope the OS get's smoked in the CWS. Now pulling for North Carolina to take it all.

    Dude Josh Beckett is 10 million times better than Francis. Josh Beckett has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this year by far. The Rockies pitching is nothing to fear and neither is that of the Giants the only pitcher on San Fran that is even someone to worry about is Matt Morris and that's when he's completely on his game.

    Not surprised this is happening to the kid though, even watching him in the CWS last year you could see that he had nasty stuff for the college level. He didn't have nasty stuff at the major league level of baseball or even the minors for that matter. Seems like his command and control are off a bit but I mean we have to cut this kid some slack it's his first year he will get better and he will be an amazing pitcher.

    Going to be an interesting game that's for sure Sox should win this one Beckett will go the distance. GO SOX GO.

    I would much rather have Julio Lugo at SS then Cora. Lugo hits much better than Cora does and his glove is alot better at the position as well. If Cora was to play it should be at 2nd but even there we have Pedroia so he won't be playing there he's gonna stay on the bench for a longtime to come.

    I still stand behind what I have been saying all season Dice-K is amazing and will continue to b e all year. The problem is every time the guy pitches he doesn't get any run support it's almost like he has to throw a shutout to win the game. The bats need to start hitting when he pitches this guy should be a 9 or 10 game winner right now and he would be if they gave him support when he pitched. He is a very solid pitcher and will continue to be all year by the looks of things. Once the team starts to hit behind him he will be winning alot more games.

    Ah man I was on the edge of my seat at the end of this game I really thought that Schilling was going to get the no hitter but then that idiot Shannon Stewart just had to break up the no hitter but on the bright side the Sox won the game and gained some more ground on Toronto. Now we got the 8-0 Beckett on the mound tmrw night. Hope he pitches like Schilling did.

    Kind of hard to say who will come when Timlin goes. I'd think it would be Manny Delcarmen though. Lester is supposed to be back soon so I expect Tavarez to go back into the pen and Lester to be a starter.

    Going to be a good game Sox need to start hitting early on and need to rip the ball as much as they can. Hope Tavrez can pitch well if he does we will win. GO SOX GO.

    He's a bush leaguer it's as simple as that. First he slaps the ball outta Arroyo's glove then last night against Toronto. A-Rod is overrated and he knows it it's as simple as that he always has been overrated. A-Rod needs to be beaned maybe that will fix him.
