When im watching the game my ritual is to just make sure that I'm wearing my Red Sox jersey. And when playing I always tap the plate on the right and left side.
He has the first year jitters out of his system. I think he'll be fine this season. Well just have to wait and see what happens but I can't see him struggling.
I agree baseball season needs to start. I hate it when the white stuff is on the ground it just reminds me that it means more time until the baseball season starts up again. Being a baseball players means depression for about 6 or 7 months for me lol.
Although right now the Sox look like they have a stellar rotation it's way too early to say it's the best in baseball. There are still question with it and only way we are going to know if we are the best is when the season starts.
Although I liked Dinardo his days with the Sox were numbered just seemed like there was no spot for him on the roster and with the whole JD Drew thing and needing to make room for him I guess the F.O thought it was best to place him on waivers. I wish him well out West and maybe oneday we will see him in a Bosox uniform again.
Direct tv better not be the only ones to have the games. I'm using Rogers Cable right now to get the Extra Innings. If this is the case then I'm going to have to switch to Satellite meh w.e as long as I still have my Centre Ice Package. I guess I'll just purchase mlb.tv and watch the Sox games on my computer from now on.
Sounds like the kid isn't too far away from being on the big league team from the stuff he has. Just have to wait and see how he uses his stuff this year.
Safety against New Orleans now 18-14 for Chicago this game keeps getting better and better. Can't wait till the next one though New England and Indy the game that I have been waiting to see all week.
It's stupid I don't like the idea of Major league teams starting the season in Japan if they are going to do this then what is the point of the Japan All Star Series when they go over and play the series against the Japanese teams. Shouldn't have the guys going over there it's just a disadvantage if anything they go to the different time zone then they have to come back and readjust to the time zone difference again I dunno I just hate the whole thing. Shouldn't be doing it at all. It's just like the NFL Playing regular season games in other countries like they will be playing in London next year. Leagues need to stay away from this.
Well Trot you were great in the time that you were with the Bosox and I only wish the best for wherever else you are going to be. You will be missed by many Sox fans.
Even if he does come back he's going to suck the guy hasn't played in while and he is getting up there in age so he most likley won't do much when he comes back, that is if he even lasts. I see him either being released or in the minors all year.
Sad to see Mark go he was a solid second basemen I guess with Pedroia he just didn't fit in and the Sox didn't want him back. He's a good fit for Houston and they got a great pickup.
Outside of Moss, Lowrie and Spann the rest of those guys really are pretenders. They have yet to prove us otherwise. Just haven't seem anything in them that shows they are major league calibre like Lowrie, Spann and Moss.
I've been away on Vacation and I just learnt about this trade yesterday and wow the White Sox are just giving away players this year. Dunno what they are thinking over there.
Wow even though this guy isn't a MVP calibre player he is a solid pickup for the Orioles they keep showing that they are serious about winning, with all the bullpen help they have gotten and now signing Huff they are going to be a better team in 07.
I'm not going to read into this too much. I'm still optimisic the Sox will sign Matsukaza it's just going to come down to the last hour. If Boras continues to go the way he is we prolly would see Matsukaza just tell him to back off and sign a deal so he can play. We all know his wishes to play in the majors and not go back to Japan next year.
