  1. Padres in 3 games.
  2. Mets in 5 games.
  3. I'll say Twins in 5 games.
  4. For anyone who is interested I started up a Yahoo Fantasy Hockey League. We haven't drafted yet we will be doing so on Tuesday. I can change it if need be. Anyone who wants in just post on here and I'll put the info. Thanks Ray.
  5. I say go after the guy for sure. He's a solid bat that the Sox could use in the lineup.
  6. Yea right he's good but he's not worth that much. If that is what Atlanta wants for him then forget Andruw Jones. Maybe next time around they will expect a little less but I doubt it.
  7. I doubt it very much. He's a pitcher wouldn't he rip apart his arm if he was on the juice.
  8. Gonna be sad if Trot Nixon ends up not being a Red Sock next year. The guy spent 13 years with us and was a big part of the 04 World Series team. I know that I'm going to miss seeing the guy in a Sox uniform. Thanks Trot for all the memories. As for the season. I felt it was still a decent year, I mean common look at all the injuries this team suffered what else can we expect from them. Now I'll be waiting for the offseason to see what the Sox do in terms of Trades and Signings and such, and we are most likley gonna to see some big moves made. Either way I can't wait bring on the 07 season.
  9. I agree that Willy Mo Pena just need's time he's a young guy and he will mature the more he plays. We can't jump down his throat yet he doesn't have much experience. But one thing that really gets to me after being at today's game sitting in Left Field and seeing what I saw is the fact that Kevin Youklis SHOULD NOT be in the outfielder. I am sorry but he is an infielder and that's it. At no point should he be playing Left, Centre, or Right and today was a perfect example of this he missed a routine pop fly and he made a really bad mistake on a ball that he shouldn't have been trying to barehand. I understand that the Sox that on the bench was three left handed hitting outfielders that they would have been able to use. But I would rather have seen maybe Hinske in Left today. It didn't even have to be Hinske just someone who had more experience and can play the position a little better. Don't get me wrong I am not saying that Kevin Youklis isn't a good player because that's not what I think at all I think he is a great player in the INFIELD. I really don't think he should be playing in the outfield. I dunno maybe it's just me that sees this way.
  10. Yeah but the Yankees still clinch for hell's sake. We gotta watch another year of them in the postseason. But whatever they'll choke like they do every year.
  11. Another loss to Minnesota at least win one tommorow night just to say they took one from Minnesota. Yankees clinch division title number 9 and the Sox are once again on the outside looking in. Well I guess our playoff hopes are finished now. It was a good year. Let's just hope they can avoid the injuries next year and this team will make a serious push for the playoffs.
  12. K that looked like it hurt I wouldn't be surprised if he neve rwalks again. And it was nice to see my Wolverines put a beating on the Irish on Saturday and improve to 3-0 for the year.
  13. Ouch we are getting beaten up by Minnesota they hit everything that Wakefield threw their way. He has not looked good in his first two starts back. The Bats need to come alive and get some runs. Just seems like noone can stop this Minnesota team. Now Dinardo is pitching. Maybe the Sox should have started Dinardo he's already done better than Wakefield was doing.
  14. No doubt that he's a great ballplayer. And he's now accomplished an amazing record in baseball. He's been solid from the time he broke into the league and he keeps getting better every year he plays.
  15. It's going to be hard to move Papelbon to a starter role because of the fact that there is none who can close like Papelbon that the Sox have in the Pen currently. Foulke can't do it he's shown that he's not the same old closer he used to be. And Timlin has shown that he struggles to close out games. So I wouldn't be too surprised if the Sox don't move Papelbon to the rotation and keep him in the Closer role.
  16. Nice too see Portland in the Finals let's hope they can win a championship.
  17. I dunno but this guy is looking more and more like he's going to hit at least 60 homeruns this year. Can you believe that this is what his first or second full season in the majors and he'll have hit 60 Homerun's that is ridiculous.
  18. It's nothing serious anyways they guy is apparently only day to day with a bruise.
  19. Wow Sanchez threw a no-no it was nice to see another one that's the first one since what 2004 when Johnson threw one. Speaking of Johnson it was nice to see his no-no broke up by Dejesus. It made my day that's for sure.
  20. All I can say is it's about time they traded the guy. He's old and needed to be traded he was garbage and has been for awhile. He hasn't been able to be consistent and has struggled the last couple of seasons. Not to mention he has barely been healthy.
  21. If Wells does decide to leave Toronto the Sox should push very very hard for this guy. Think about it havin a lineup that consists of Manny, Ortiz and Vernon Wells. And not only does he bring a bat to the team he will bring an amazing outfield presence he can catch almost any ball and he has a gun for an arm. I think it would be a biggggggg mistake if the Sox didn't make a push for this guy. Also because you know the Yankees will be pushing for him.
  22. Wow I didn't even know it was physically possible to be that size at that age. To bad Canada didn't have him they sucked this year then again they have never really done anything at the LLWS.
  23. The Dodgers have gotten alot better that's for sure and they made some steals in getting Maddux and Lugo but I have to disagree with them being the team to beat in the N.L I still think the New York Mets are the team to beat over in the National League and they are my pick to be the N.L Champ this year.
  24. Another day another loss. Man just 2 weeks ago the Sox were one game back of New York now they have lost 11 of their last 14 games. I really hope that the Sox can snap out of this streak and get into the playoffs it's going to be hard to do have to get ahead of either the White Sox and Twins to get into top spot in the A.L Wildcard race seeing as how neither of those two teams are going to even come close to catching the Tigers. I have faith that the boys can pull it off and make it.
