Me too. And I think the very fact that he’s talking to reporters again is a good sign in itself. If he still felt he wasn’t able to come back and contribute sometime soon, then he wouldn’t have made himself available. A fresh arm and an experienced pitcher like him could be the answer to the depleted rotation.
Back to the topic of the thread…I can’t wait until next year’s ST to see how/if the Sox will make the decision to move Paps back to starting. Obviously the decision will be made in part by how Hansen performs. I expect both will get the chance to start in ST, and then go from there.
