Last night’s start with Snyder showed a lot of promise with all of the groundouts. In his 3 starts with the Sox he’s gone 14.2 IP, 14K, 3B. He sails through 4 innings and for some reason the 5th inning he sufferers from some kind of meltdown. Whether it’s part mental, bad luck, opposing lineups just getting used to him, or a combination of all of this…I don’t know. If he can learn to work through this issue I can’t see why he couldn’t be used as a spot starter or long reliever.
