Off topic but what kind of contract will Gray be seeking? The Sox has the club option for $30M where Gray can opt out of it. Will he go for longer years at less annual value?

He will turn 37 in November.

He stated that if his family asked him to retire, that he would without question. Not sure if he's really looking for a bunch of years at this point.

I think it will come down to whether Gray wants to pitch 1 more year ( take the $30mm) or if he thinks he really wants to continue for 2+ years for maybe $50-$75mm.

My advice to Sonny, take the RS $30m and. go have a nice life

It would be great if he'd take the option at $30M. I think he's worth it on a one year deal.

That is incredibly stupid. You don’t mess around with hamstring injuries.

Clearly they have no concerns.  2 weeks without actual play can cause innocuous cramping.   They obviously were overly cautious. He’s fine

IMHO, the most impressive stat that Pedro put on the board was in the 2000 season. He had an ERA of 1.74, the lowest in the AL. The second lowest ERA was Clemens at 3.70.

Of course, this was during the steroid era.

Also in the 2000 season Pedro had 284 strike outs and an 11.7 WAR.

1 hit through 6.  All you need to know.

Blowing another excellent pitching effort

There is literally no point in this post season. With this putrid and embarrassing offense.    Two and barbecue.

Cleveland has a big incentive to win this game,  so Boston's pitching is even more validated.

Just don't lose to a Pesky Pole HR

looks like they're getting "tuned up" to get blown out in the playoffs.
