What's he doing that RA or AR isn't doing?

Maintaining an OPS+ of 74 for over 580PA?

2004 Yanks are the ultimate choke.

But we may be seeing 2011 redux

Very possible, though they already have won as many games this month as they did all of that year (they went 7-20 in 2011, they’re 7-7 so far this September).

The pitching absolutely imploded 15 years ago.  I think the ERA for September was close to 6 for the staff.  That was the month Daniel Bard began his descent.  Many think it was the next year when he tried to be a starter, but it was actually that September when he blew I don’t know how many games.

Just a bunch offering no resistance,  totally unlike the streak.

The law of averages for one thing.  They went what, 32-5?  That’s impossible to keep up.

This series it looks like they’ve run into a team that is gotten into a hot streak.  Every bloop drops in for them, the few hard hit balls against them seem to go right at somebody, they get a break and take advantage of it. Over the course of 6 months, those things even out.  In a 3 game series, anything can happen.

It’s not always who you play but when you play them.

Plus the AAAA players who were doing so well then have come back to earth.

Actually it’s because this is the real Flops.

Can someone tell me who the leader of this team is?  It certainly isn’t Tracy. He’s got the energy of sloth with a lobotomy

It's the same Tracy when the Sox went 32-5.

As for who the leader of this team is I'll have to phone a friend.

Is Tracy all of sudden doing something different now than he was doing a month and a half ago.  Seems to me he exhibited the  same energy of a sloth with a lobotomy during the 32-5 streak that he is showing now.

Do any of the teams behind the Sox deserve to make the PO's?

Yup

The Guardians

The Jays for example

And the team that is beating the snot out of the Flops right now

As usual you missed the point entirely.

Oh-I got the point. You asked who deserves to be in the playoffs that are behind the FLOPS. I told you. You just didn’t like the answer
