Better late than never. Sox do tear into bullpens after the starters buffalo them for 6-7 innings

Story continues to hit.

He can hit mistakes-like Rafaela. But if they throw sweepers outside he’s helpless .

Don’t see Kimbrel getting there at all

His prepitch pose will get there, but not him

You're hopeless, but you do provide some real insight into the workings of baseball.

Since Raff hasn't played in a while, you must have a lot of unreleased anger.

That inning is a prime example as to why the Sox have very low prospects for the playoffs.

1 run in 4 innings, typical

I posted before the game that Cameron has a sub 2 ERA over the past month or so.  This was unlikely to be a high scoring game

Chapman recently has had to use a lot of pitches to get 3 outs. He has not been sharp.

He hasn't lost one but he is pretty messed up right now

He’s pitched once in a week; yesterday.

Actually, the Sox have faced good starting pitchers in these last 5 games, except for Lugo.

I saw your note and respect it . Cameron pitched to form and the Sox responded weekly.

In the playoffs they will only see the best opposing pitchers, therefore home for Halloween

Who knew terrible losing teams were hiding talent.

Could Brez have traded for one ?

Good pitching beats good hitting. That's been true forever.

One nit: the only way everyone isn’t home for Halloween is if the World Series goes 7 games.

But your real point is noted.

That is because there were no save opportunities since his team couldn't hit

Go back a little further

. The comment was he is using a lot of pitches, not very efficient,  limiting his potential appearances

Chapman barely threw a strike the entire inning.  Good thing that high FB is irresistible.
