To those much smarter than me; was Gray not picked to the ASG the biggest snub ever?

I assume that was directed at me.
Yes. It’s one of them.

Abreu said "take that Vegas."

Give him credit, tonight he has big hits when it matters

Like Moon says, if you chew their azz enough they respond well

Wheeler is 10-1 with a 2.13

Sanchez was 8-2 with a 2.50 at the break last year, and finished 2nd in the CY.

They did ask Wheeler to replace a pitcher and he pretty much said shove that up your azz. Good for him.

They never even asked Gray to replace a pitcher, but if they had, I hope he would have responded like Wheeler.

Better to have multi-days off than have to attend that clown show

Mayer has lost his job

Interesting observation since he never really earned it via performance

No.  Hank Greenberg in 1935 was the biggest snub ever considering he had 100 RBI at the break and his own manager was picking the team.

Gray was a big snub, but honestly, not sure where it ranks…

Mayer is in a precarious  position with the scrap heap players outperforming him and the team’s top prospect breathing down his neck.

If Mayer isn’t activated before August 3, he might have played his last game for Boston…

Junior is a Major pain in the azz.

He needs to be rebranded as Monster Caminero…

Probably a good chance that if his ulna is healed he will have to go to Woo Sox for awhile.

I am sure Breslow is peddling Mayer hard

Who was that guy who thought you could win with defense and pitching ?

Oh yeah, and several HRs

Earl Weaver. He said the keys to winning games are pitching, defense, and the three run homer

Good memory ! It surely wasn't Craig B who advocates for wall banging hitters

Could the Sox get closer value by trading Guerrero instead of Chapman ?

Or better to keep Guerrero as a possible closer and move proven but older Chapman?

Or best and keep them both.
