Suarez gives the run right back.  This could be a long 5 year contract. He's more of a #4 than anything higher.

Duran's May vs June up/down shows the inconsistency.  They won't extend him as he approaches 30 later this year.  

With no long win streak over rest of June into July, Jarren must be traded

Maybe Anthony will return one day and force the issue. What if Roman is so scared of reinjury that he never takes full power swings again, ever ?

There is a reason why Guerrero has bounced around and been out of the league several times.  It's amazing how people are so blinded by triple digit fastball speeds.  Just because he can throw it in the low 100's, doesn't mean he can pitch.

I’d trade him if we can get a decent prospect. This whole team needs to be torn down. There are only a 6-8 players I’d keep, if that.

We got a little lucky there.  They had Raffy at 1-2.  He swung at a pitch that was eye-high (or worse), checked his swing on another eye-high FB, then fouled off a pitch maybe neck high.  He couldn't lay off of them and couldn't hit them.

Someone calls for a pitch in the zone in what was a horrible, horrible call.  He still had to hit it, but the call should've been for shoulder/neck high FBs until he popped up.  Maybe Duran still wins it for us, but Raffy should never have had the opportunity to put us ahead.

So is this 2 in a row for the first time this year?

Nah.  They've won 2 in a row 5 times now.  This is the second time it's happened at home.  It's happened twice on the road, and once it was 1 road, 1 home.

They've even won 3 in a row 3 times, all on the road.

No four game win streaks yet, but hoping for that with this bunch would be greedy.

I was just being snarky, which is what I do when the RS win.  And when they lose.
