I really hope Suarez is on his game because this would be quite a win heading to Tampa.

Tough game vs Cam S.  The Ranger has trouble going 5 full.

Seigler will have a breakout game to help

Speaking of schlit, Schlitz beer is being taken out of production.

Is Narragansett still a beer ? Curt Gowdy wants to know

The reason Mayer's batting 9th is because there's no such thing as a 10 man line-up.

Mayer has trouble discerning a ball from a strike.

Then he follows the Boston Batting Way trying to upward launch everything. Results in topped bouncers and pop ups

Who knew Seigler would be the long awaited answer at 2B ?

He may know the strike zone working a BB off Schlittler

Unfortunately, Teddy Ballgame isn't available to straighten out his swing.

Oh wait, Sox management wouldn't allow Williams to coach the hitters, just like they wouldn't allow Rice.

Breslow’s nerds would just tell him to go away since the advice wouldn’t correspond with the Sox philosophy.

Difference being Rice just told the kid to go play with his computer.  Ted would have stuffed the computer down the nerds throat.

2 soft bloops and a single followed by a flyout shows Suarez is a pitcher, not a thrower, extending his shutout matching Schlittler

Lou Costello would be proud of your response. And Bud Abbott would be proud of Illinois for setting that up.

Give me a layup and I'll dunk on you

SS on many teams is a key hitting position as much as defense.  Not so much in Boston

Lots of times a long AB results in a deserved hit. Not so much for Mayer
