And in the previous 9 he allowed 1 run (ghost runner unearned) and 4 hits (never more than 1 in any game).  As this bullpen goes, he’s hardly been a problem.

Gasper has to be in the lineup everyday one way or another. Guy has an incredible discipline at the plate.

The whole idea behind using an opener was to use one of the better relievers against the top of the order rather than saving them for the 7th, 8th, 9th with anyone could be up.
