Instead of talking to Cedanne, Cora should be managing the game. The right side of the Yankee infield was back. Durbin can't hit. Have him bunt toward fist to score one and move the other runner to third. That would be smart baseball but Cora doesn't know how to do that.

Hockey? The Bruins ended up with 100 points this year. I think they had only 76 last year. This year was supposed to be a rebuilding year but they (and the Celtics and the Patriots) have owners who actually care about winning and GMs who are competent.

The Bruins have a top notch goaltender. That can take them a long ways. They also have a couple of studs on offense and a couple on defense. And they have a few really good prospects about to join the club. Agree with you about their coach and management team-top notch. They are certainly not in a position to compete for the Cup but in a year or two they’ll be there.

the FLOPS on the other hand are a disgrace.

IMO all these everyday rotations in the OF, IF and DH are taxing the team. We don’t have an everyday lineup. This platoon obsession by Cora and Breslow is hurting this team. Your titular team has to see lefties and righties. Period. Explain how Mayer is going to grow as a hitter putting IKF, who btw is a bum, when we face lefties. I simply don’t get it.
