One thing I’m seeing is the Twins are going to up to the plate with a plan.  They look for a pitch and they aren’t missing it.  The Sox plan appears to be swing hard and hope the pitcher hits the bat.

Sonny was due for a bad start. Between the hitting and pitching on this team, I foresee a very high draft pick after this season ends.

To be fair, Twins are white hot right now.  They've won 7 of 8 and beat up on two other all-stars in Skubel and Framber Valdez in the last week.

Breslow is just following orders from JH. That's why no one capable of being a good GM wants to work for the Sox. Wasn't Breslow like the 12th choice?

I’m not in love with Cora, but I think his hands are tied.  He’s got a s***** roster.

As an organization, the Sox are wedded to a crap one size fits all hitting philosophy.  I’d blame Driveline, but the Dodgers use them and they seem to be doing fine.  Of course, they probably paid to hire the Driveline guys who know what they’re doing.  The Sox cheaped out and hired the guys who told Jim Rice to get lost in spring training when some young kid had the audacity to ask a HOF hitter for advice.  These guys may well have ruined Campbell and who knows who else.

Heard an interesting thing today that last year, Bregman noticed something with Story, after which Story had a really good last 2/3 of the season.  It wasn’t  Fatse, it was Bregman who turned Trevor around.
