I’m not in love with Cora, but I think his hands are tied.  He’s got a s***** roster.

As an organization, the Sox are wedded to a crap one size fits all hitting philosophy.  I’d blame Driveline, but the Dodgers use them and they seem to be doing fine.  Of course, they probably paid to hire the Driveline guys who know what they’re doing.  The Sox cheaped out and hired the guys who told Jim Rice to get lost in spring training when some young kid had the audacity to ask a HOF hitter for advice.  These guys may well have ruined Campbell and who knows who else.

Like I posted last week, you can have fun with a very good team or a very bad team. A mediocre team is no fun.

They aren’t as good as mediocre

It’s 2-0. It’s already over. I changed the channel to watch the Bruins who are a quality franchise and are up 4-0.

Fred, some people here may be recording that game, like myself, and don't want to be informed of the score. This is just for future notice.

He’s a clown.  He’s (supposedly) watching the Bruins but manages to come on here multiple times since he posted that and leave his usual drivel.  I don’t give out ignores very much, but Fred adds nothing and has earned that “honor” from me.

Got it

Didn’t even think about that,

You’ll miss out on my wisdom.
Your loss

As I wrote I turned the Flops game off but have been checking the score on game day from time to time.

I get it. But his intense negativity may be well founded this season. Sox fans deserve much better than this.

I’ll take negativity from guys like you, notin, moonslav and others who post in good times and bad.  I don’t need to read it from guys who only show up when the Sox are losing and are nowhere to be found when things are going well.

It's OK. I cancelled the hit on you.

It’s ok

Illinois put one out. Raymond Reddington is at my front door as we speak

I don’t by the s***** roster thing.

We’re playing the Twins.  A team that unloaded Danny Coulombe, Griffins Jax, Jhoan Duran, Brock Stewart, Louis Varland, Ty France, Harrison Bader, Willi Castro, Chris Paddock, and Carlos Correa in one weekend ladt year, and in return they got Mick Abel, Taj Bradley and James Outman and a slew of players still in the minors.  Their big offseason additions were Josh Bell, Victor Caratini and Tristan Gray (I know.)  Oh and they lost Pablo López for the year.

Do the Twins have a good roster? Have you seen it ? But they have a good W-L record and are second in the AL in runs scored.  After winning 70 games a year ago.

Look around MLB.  The Sox roster is nowhere  near as bad as many seem to think.  Their performance has been, however…

I show up all the time. When the players deserve compliments I give them out. When the team-especially the owners and management suck-I’ll call them out on it.

I always contract with Jules Winnfield.

Reddington is the main character on “Blacklist” in case the reference wasn’t clear.

At what point are we going to accept we are just not a good team? After say… 50 games and being 6 or 7 games under 500?

Whether this line-up is good or bad will be largely determined on how both Anthony and Mayer perform offensively this season.

Same clown they’ve had the past couple years, Peter Fatse, who stinks at his job.

Heard an interesting thing today that last year, Bregman noticed something with Story, after which Story had a really good last 2/3 of the season.  It wasn’t  Fatse, it was Bregman who turned Trevor around.

It appears Story forgot what Bregman told him.
