Maybe? I wouldn't promote Eyanson until June though. No reason to rush him along. Tolle was in GRE until the end of June last year.

Agree on Eyanson. Is there someone else ready for a promo?

Sprague is 23, but was in FCL, last season.

It's still April. I think it's ok if you let guys succeed for a few weeks. You don't need to keep pushing everyone up ASAP. With how the weather is in POR, I'd keep the young guys in GRE until mid/late May no matter what.

I was just wondering who take's Sandoval's slot, and then who takes that guy's slot...

Also, if we cut Watson loose, that's another rolling group of promos.

Coffey was a starter for most of his career. They could just move him into the rotation. He doesn't seem like a bullpen guy to me anyway.

Maybe they have Bastardo start?

Depending on the news about Gray, maybe they sign Giolito?

Arias is still blowing everyone away in OPS (1.397) in 35 PAs.

Cheng, Delay & Gasper remain over 1.000.

Tucker & Opata are over 1.000 for Salem, while Mason White leads GRE with a .918 OPS.

Is YRod finally showing the promise was not a lie? (.834 for GRE)

As we expected, the farm pitching has been the thing to watch.

For WOO, Bennet (0.55 & .337 OPS Against) and Tolle (3.00/.619) have led the way.

For POR, Holobetz (1.12/.397 w 23Ks in 16 IP) has gotten attention. Eduardo Rivera continues to get the job done at 0.90/.425.

GRE was the rotation to watch, but they've kinda been shown up by Salem, POR and Woo. Eyanson has stood alone (0.73/.338.) Valera is hurt, but he started strongly at 1.93/.441 w 17 Ks in 11.1 IP.

SAL saw Futrell (0.00/.191) promoted to GRE, but Dylan Brown has shown brightly, too (3.75/.578.) Ethan Walker has surprised a few (1.69/.504)

The FCL season begins May 5th. DSL begins in June.

Some thoughtful ideas.

Sox have a lot of promising ex-college arms, but 6 foot-7 inch Rivera schooled a lot of pro hitters in the WBC as Puerto Rico's go-to guy.

He had a really good season on our farm, last year too.

Woo is taking a beating, tonight. Not much to report.

Arias has homered for POR, while Ziehl got lit up.

GRE is locked up in a low scoring battle. Ingrassia went 3.2- 2- 0- 2- 4.

SAL won 12-2. Finley went 5 (4H 1ER 1BB 5K) The top 6 batters plus the #9 all had 2 hits. The team stole 6 bases and walked 6 times with 14 hits.

Rivera may not crumble under the big lights since he just pitched a month ago with his entire country screaming for him at a big party in the sold-out stands.

Rivera was promoted to BOS to take Gray's slot. Anderson demoted to AAA and Samaniego brought back up.

Yesterday, Bastardo was added to the Woo roster, along with Sansone

Johanfran Garcia promoted from GRE to POR.

Allmer went from POR to GRE, and Galvan from GRE to SAL.

Waiting for word on who gets DFA'd (Watson?) or placed on the 60 Day IL (Casas, Crawford or Sandoval?) to make room on the 40 for Rivera.

3 farm teams lost today, 2 by 1 run.

Bennett did okay: 4.2IP 4H 1ER 1BB 3K. Sweet & Keller walked 8 batters in 3 IP, KC, Romero, Eaton & Sogard all had 2 hits.

POR got drilled 13-8. Yup, Arias had 2 hits, including a dinger. His OPS is back up to 1.431.

GRE is playing now.

Patton pitched poorly for SAL. Heyman had a couple hits and Salazar & Jimenez homered.
