Woo got the win. Anderson looked good in 4IP (3H 0ER 0BB 4K) Eaton went 3-3 with HR, BB and 2B.

POR won as Mullins pitched 2 hit shutout ball over 5 IP but had 5BB & 5K. Baez homered and Arias went 1-4.

GRE won 10-7 in 10 IP, despite walking 11 batters. GRE walked 11 times, too. Gonzales went 3-5 w HR. Tucker homered, too.

SAL was the only team in the organization to lose, and they lost 7-0. D Reyes did not do well.

soxprospects.com is one of my favorite websites. They do a pretty good job providing information on the team's prospects. Of course, they get some rankings wrong, but they are pretty accurate most of the time. Here is a look at their top 5 prospects from 2003 to today. I took the liberty of selecting the best 5 from their Spring, Summer and Fall rankings. Any lower ranked prospects that did well were added in parenthesis. (Highest ranking that year provided) Sometimes I left our prospects who graduated that year or soon afterwards, if I listed them in previous years.

2004: 1 Lester, 3 Pedey, 1 Youkilis, 1 HRam, 5 Papelbon (B Moss)

YRod has bolted up the stats list. Nobody in the system has more PAs and a higher OPS (1.037) Arias and Tucker are higher but have less PAs. Arias leads the system in HRs at 7, with YRod at 5.

Ferguson has shot up to 1.000 but apparently forgot how to steal bases (3 w 2CS.)

I lost faith in Cespedes, and now he's at .879.

Godbout is now over .800.

The ERA leaders with 16+ IP:

0.51 Futrell

0.54 Eyanson

0.86 Bennett
