This was the most obvious outcome from them partnering and blasting gambling ads all over the place.

I expect both players to be acquitted in court and to be banned by MLB…

I don’t get what Clase was thinking. He’s already a star player making millions and he’s risking his career for thousands? Unless he was in some deep s*** and being blackmailed this makes no sense

Given that he makes roughly $5,000 per pitch already, a defense that he was coerced is an easy sell…

So the sports execs  making millions hooking up with gamblers apparently realize the only way to prove how morally pure they are is by scapegoating some no-account employees.   Half-a-million bail for (I forget which one).   And of course, like all of you, I am SHOCKED and OUTRAGED that sports leagues hooking up with gamblers could ever have led to such dastardly deeds as this.
