Hicks getting absolutely hammered.  He can't pitch, but he's out of options, so the Sox keep him on the roster.

He’s should only be used in spots where you would use a position player.

Let's not forget the Pirates scored 4 runs when Bello started and 7 off of Crochet.

I think the first call was right.  Batter interfered with Wong so he's out and the guy coming home goes back to third.

The Guardians still have 4 stinking runs in less than 2 innings.  And men on 2d and 3d with 2 outs.

I’m a little surprised Cora didn’t get himself tossed there.

Umpires got it right.  Wong stops and takes his mask off--he is no longer going for the ball, but trying to get back to home.  So, alas, obstruction.  Note that Cora did not argue it.

Lousy for us, but completely unfair for the fans at the game who are paying big bucks to be there.

Wong was called for interference.

Bernardino, Hicks, and Matz give up 7 runs in 2 innings.

Cora has a lot on his mind. He's putting a plan together to kill Hicks and make it look like an accident.

The only thing normal about this game is the pathetic umpiring. That's always a constant.

Apparently, they got the call right.

The Pirates hammered Bello and Crochet for 11 runs, so stomping Bernardino, Hicks, and Matz was a piece of cake.

The veteran Ramirez made sure there was contact as well..

Baseball is still second in terrible officiating. The NHL has a lock on first.

Sox now swinging at fast balls, which is smart.  Wait, wait, don't tell me.  Sogard, on the other hand, swung at nothing and K'd.

Yes.  The replays show that, which is why I thought the first call was right.

Anthony picked the wrong time to get injured. What a s***** game.

Actually, this was the perfect game for him to miss,

As big a worry as the hitting now is, the pitching, which has carried the Sox this season, looks almost as bad.  Crochet gave up 7 runs last night.  Now the bullpen has give up 7 more in just 3 IP.
