A 21 year old isn't supposed to have such a quiet approach at the plate.

Mayer seems to be "still " also, but does he hit anything other than ground balls ?  Needs to work on launch angle, so he can K more in line with Sox hitting philosophy .

We have to take this great streak with a grain of salt. Next three weeks will be a good thermometer and see if this team is for real starting tomorrow. Also, Yoshida and Bregman will be finally available. Gonna be interesting. In the meantime, I’m enjoying it.

You know which hitter didn't have a launch angle?

Albert Pujols.

I only use sea salt. It sounds healthier, but it really isn't.

Too bad Masa's not a catcher.

Well, that's the point isn't it?  Wong is actually a good catcher who this season can't hit a lick.  But he might have been useful last night catching Bello's 9 inning, 2 ER effort.

True. Catchers rarely get enough credit when the starter has an exemplary performance.

It just occurred to me that there's no one on the Rockies that I dislike.

Also, until this series started, there was no one on the Rockies that I'd ever heard of.

Indeed.

I am sure the 6 game streak and mighty offense is blinding me, but it seems the players are having fun and functioning  or relating in a team mode.  Coincidence it occurs after Devers left ?  Probably or it could be playing teams like the Nats and Rockies.
