Doesn't seem fair.  In 26 playoff games Devers has a .955 OPS, 8 HR and 26 RBI.

His career OPSs of .719 in August and .798 in September are likely what the OP was referring to.

But if an OPS of .798 for a month is among your bad traits, that’s really scratching for complaints…

Geez, back off.....are you  telling me that had we swept the Jays, we're not right back in it?

I didn't say anything about we can do it.......I'm trying to put a cheer into what is turning out to be another horrible season. Put me on ignore.

We aren't sweeping the Jays. We do not have enough talent on this version of the Flops to be "right back in it" even if we had swept the Jays.

Thank you John Henry. Thank you Craig Breslow for putting garbage on the field year after year.

I chose to stay away from this room for the most part last few years, I returned because I'm bored (ha). No, but I was excited about the '25 team when they started to go on that winning run...It was like hey wait a second we got something going, Raffy was doing great at DH, Bregman was injured but Mayer was swinging the bat, and then you had Rafaela having his best run of the season at plate to go with mostly good pitching, and then Anthony's rise to the MLB roster...and the good times rolled...until the Devers trade...what a disaster, and again what an indictment on the Sox ability to just rip the fun out of anything close to winning. But I admire a lot of you for continuing to be here and comment on Sox baseball, mostly a losing battle and arguments about losing because that's been the Sox going on too many seasons now. Accepting mediocrity.
