Story simply cannot turn on anything in mid 90's, cannot resist chasing a slider away , cannot do anything with amid 80's change up ( fouled off).

He literally cannot hit anything meaningful.

Just another dead contract. We're used to those or we should be.

It all plays off the fastball;  because he can’t catch up to a fastball, he has to cheat and start his swing early which means when the slider comes, he can’t hold up.

True.

How can the scorer put that error on Abreu.??      The error was Narvaez not being able to catch it or knock it down in front of himself to get to a tag.

If the throw skipped off the edge of the infield cut and the dirt arc in front of home, then it's not anybody's error except the Atlanta ground crew.

I do not think his exaggerated stance  ( wide open/leg kick)  gets him to the hitting zone quick enough .

It may work for Devers and Abreu but not for Trevor.  But that would take a hitting coach to analyze

Hopefully they change that. Totally unfair.

I have to go and help a friend fly a plane that he built.   50-50 this is my last Red Sox game, so SS and Jad, try to bring it home a winner.

Ball must have taken a bad hop?  Hit Narvaez right in the shoulder.  (And 'bad bounce' gets error charged to thrower).

Why can’t any starters not named crochet go at least 5 innings!!!!

See my post above.  Any other hitter, he’d stay in.  Olson, no.

Ahead of time, I have no issue with Cora pulling Giolito here, given that Olson has hit about .750 against him.

Wouldn't it be better to IW Olson than to go to the BP again?

Cora can't be fired soon enough.
