Nice to see Fitts come back with a decent showing. Hopefully, we can inch up the pitch count and he can step into the 3 slot role. I never expected him to be one of our best hopes for that slot, but baseball is a funny game like that.

Leadoff doubles go to die in this offense. Why can't a guy with Duran's speed drag a bunt toward first for a sacrifice and a potential hit. Instead, he takes strike three and doesn't move the runner.

At the start of the season I didn't think much of Justin Wilson. So far, he has proved me wrong. He is putting together a really good season and is one of the few reliable relievers in the bullpen.

I agree and Bernardino has been quietly effective also.

Can someone on the Sox medical staff be bribed and diagnose Story having bone spurs and then put him on the 60 day IL,?

You would like to think this 1-0 game was an exciting tight pitcher's duel but instead it is a slog by two inept teams of batters .  

Not sure what they think they can do to turn this around but Cora/Bailey and Breslow cannot continue to wear out the bullpen game after game. Fitts did well with his "rehab " start  and hopefully is back in the 5 inning rotation. 

The hitters are in a collective slump very reminiscent of last August.

Either the whole team is in a slump or two or three good hitters are in a slump and the rest just suck.

The Brewers' offense is pathetic, except for Hoskins.
