I would guess Bernardino. IIRC he has options and the signings of Wilson and Chapman as LHRP lead me to believe Bernardino is the odd man out. He also struggled to end the season so that doesn’t help his case.

Wilson

I hope we add one from Hoffman, Holmes or Estevez (maybe trade for Fairbanks.)

He was not added to the 40 man roster and therefore as of today is not even eligible to be in the Sox bullpen…

Criswell also has an extra option and may start in AAA.

Bernardino is the obvious candidate here, he's probably the lefty Chapman is replacing and he has an option year left.

Agreed, and they may want to keep him stretched out as a starter w Woo.

Right now, he might be our 7th or 8th best pen guy, though.

That's what I'd do with him, or have him ready for the Opening Day rotation in case Giolito or someone else isn't ready. Option him to AAA after and wait for the next injury to recall.

wasn't he one of the big FA signings last offseason?  What happened to him anyway?

if I am the GM I simply a FA SP and keep ALL our top prospects. Then pick up a decent back-up C and call it a day.

He signed a two-year minor league deal. I'm not sure that can be called "big."

We knew he was out for 2024, and the hope was he might give us something in 2025. He may still do that, if he earns his way onto the 40.

We need 2 quality pitchers, more. If it's two SP'ers, Crawford could be a nice long man and spot starter.

Fried and Hoffman/Estevez would be great.

Manaea and Yates/Kittredge would be okay.

Flaherty and Nate would be okay, too, I guess.

Pivetta and Martin, or the like,  is what we might get.
