The Sox had the lead going into the 8th inning in game 1 and in the 7th thru 10th innings in game 2. With a decent bullpen, they win both games.

Not well deserved, and especially not "another well deserved L." The Sox had leads in both games and lost both games because of a weak bullpen.

 

You seem to think the Dodgers are pushovers and no different from the Oakland A's, but in fact the Dodgers lead the NL West by 7 games and are 30-19 in Dodger Stadium.
