Duvall K'ing on a low away pitch that was never, ever even close to the strike zone. He and Story should be forced to watch their AB's over and over until they get as tired of it as some fans.

Houck improves his pitch count to 43 for 3 innings, so he could get 5+. Also throwing a shutout for first 3, not the first time . He now will work on completing the 2nd time through the lineup.

Heart of the lineup Turner, Casas and Duvall are 5 for 5 K's. Then Duvall makes it an even 6 for 6. Edited by vegasbob

Story so far behind the FB, the umpire had already thrown out the next inning ball, and had a drink of Gatorade by the time Trevor fully rotated through the sir without nary a sound of wood vs hide being made

4 more years of this clown

Those who feel the SOX only need to pick up 2 starters this offseason may be too optimistic.

If we added 2 solid and durable SP'ers, Bello could be the number 3, and we could afford to yank Houck after 4 or 4.1, every start.

Pivetta and Crawford can fight for the 5 slot, assuming Sale is on the IL, all year.

Houck simply blew up the third time through the Orioles order.

I doubt that happens the third time Bradish goes through the Sox order.

Unless you are prepared to empty your BP after 4-5 innings Houck is not a SP. the only hope I see for the Sox is to somehow get Yamamoto and if they do then get either Snell or Nola. Otherwise forget it and let Bloom keep drafting HS Ss’s

On this team with this rotation, Houck fits right in. They all have trouble going 6 innings and sometimes 5 or even 4 innings.

At least Jacques is consistent. Last time out, he HBP'd the first two batters he faced.

Jacques new nickname is The Human White Flag…

Houck is nothing but a reliever, if you want to believe another thing, fool yourself.

He could be an elite reliever though.

Devers K'ed with a RISP, but Turner brings Dugo in to take the RBI lead for this season. Devers is a drag on this team.
