Fenway field crew chief notified Cora that both Cora and Bush were wearing a path between the dugout and the mound, which is getting harder and harder to repair.

Even basic defensive plays are beyond Valdez's comprehension.

 

Notice the difference in a competent baseball team and one that simply is not.

 

Anybody want to guess which of these two teams is the competent team and which is not?

 

For one thing there is no such thing as a normal looking defensive play for the Red Sox unless its a ball hit to Story or maybe sometimes Verdugo. The O's just dripping with solid play. The way they run the bases make the Rays look like a joke and the way they field their positions make the Red Sox look like a joke.

Walter continues to prove that he needs some pitching training from the Rays or Dodgers

The O's have a very very bright and promising future. If they add a couple of superstars like Othani and someone else they will be unstoppable.

 

OTOH I don't see how the Red Sox can compete them and others int the coming future.

Hey, Vegas, I believe we've passed being fans; I believe now we are members of a cult.

 

My only reason is that in the PDT, these games run from 4pm to 7:30 pm and then it's still dinnertime, plus I watch brilliant sunsets over the hills between innings. We can still go out for dinner or entertainment . This season which should have been interesting really is in the dumpster where Bloom shops and Cora picks out recyclables
