Ref

Turner(DH)

Devers

Duvall

Masa

Dalbec

No question this line-up misses Dugo.

Go BOSOX!

A Showcase line-up (except for Raffy and Yoshida)...

...on the last Sunday in June!

Lots of righties vs. the left handed opener. May we’ll see Casas for Dalbec later on. Hamilton starting at catcher is no surprise.

I used to anticipate watching Devers approach the batter's box. Not so much lately. Hopefully, Devers will bring my anticipation back. He's just looked completely lost and, maybe, Bogey was his binky.

We may see Duran PH or PR and then replace Kike once a righty comes in.

8 rbis in 10 games. Has any other Sox player done better?

Once again we see proof of how avidly Sox players look for my commentary on talksox. Glad to see Duvall has taken it to heart with a solid double to lead off the 2d inning.

Duvall looking like JDM with a double to right center. Really hoping he wasn't an 8 day wonder in April

He’s not a flash in the pan. The guy led the league in rbis not long ago

Kike keeping the line moving, setting up Caleb's GS. Actually now this Hamilton is 1 for 19 in MLB action.

Back when pitchers hit, one of the jobs of the 8th place hitter with 2 out was to do anything they could to get on and bring up the pitchers spot. At the very least, said pitcher ended the inning, allowing the leadoff guy to start the next inning.

I guess Kike at least did that.

Banks looks pretty tough to me. Good thing he needed 44 pitches to get thru the first 2 innings.

Banks is an opener. Probably his last inning.

White Sox have the best ERA in the league over the last month or so; they’ve hit a bunch of solo homers (like yesterday) but overall their issue has been offense.

Here's a question ---- The talk about Story coming back possibly in July as a hitter before his return to the field (SS or 2B) in August is problematic. If Story can only DH for a few weeks, then who sits , Turner ( not likely ), Casas (why), Yoshi ( for a guy coming off DL mid season?) . Moon has played with many lineup variations in Forum threads but I do not see how Story fits in as a DH. Plus , as we see with Duvall's return, you don't just step in and be productive out of the gate after 8-9 months of inaction and limited reps. Story should only be back when he can bat and field.

You could have inserted Red for White in your second sentence and not been far off.

Not a vote of confidence for Bobby D. Pinch hit for after one AB.

It's got to be hard being BD because you know your days are numbered in Boston . He needed to HR rather than K.. The switch to Casas in that situation is understood. Tristan almost fooled Beni

True; main difference is homers. White Sox have 35 over the last 4 weeks (20 over the last 2 weeks). Red Sox are at 23 and 13.

Not bad.
