I know some of you love Hernandez in center, but I think his defensive skills and arm are average at best. A manufactured run ties it up again. Brasier cannot avoid the one run given up. Sox needed 9 outs, got 4 of them.

That was a great throw, but Locastro is one of the fastest runners in MLB.

 

Not to mention, McGuire has been throwing out runners 34% of the time this year with those “parabolas” while Vazquez and his “lasers” have only caught 27%…

Hernandez is well above average in CF.

To have a .309 hitter on the bench and not use him as a pinch hitter last inning is inexcusable. I'm sure the Cora cult will find a reason to justify this non-move.

That was a "looping" throw and did not go to the right side of the base so Bogaerts had the tag in the wrong space. You need to go out of your way to call that a good throw.

Here's a suggestion. You watch your game and I'll watch mine. Where did the throw home wind up? There was little chance of getting the out in any case , but in Kike's case, no chance . Do me a favor and put me on ignore because you are an irritant in an otherwise wonderful season. JBJr is well above average in CF, but the guy cannot hit

You are watching a different game if you think McGuire’s throw was on the wrong side.

 

JBJ is an outstanding defensive CF, but not being JBJ doesn’t make Kike average.

Devers’ defense has greatly improved

Refsnider was a good pickup as was McGuire

We did get rid of Bradley. That’s a plus
