No McWong or McGuire at catcher, today. Plawecki gets the nod catching Wacha.

No JD.

1. Pham DH (Has been close to Pham-tastic!)

2. Dugo RF (Coming on strong.)

3. Bogey SS (Going for the batting title)

4. Devers 3B (Forevers, what else can I say?)

5. Story 2B (Playing like we had hoped.)

6. Casas 1B (In the house!)

7. Kike CF (Good to have him back)

8. Cordero LF (His only position beyond DH)

9. Plawecki C (Actually has been hot, of late.)

On the Yankems' offense he's not only the judge, he's also the DA, the jury, and the court stenographer.

And getting more rich by the minute.

Speaking of the Yankems, they are obligated to pay injury prone Stanton 26mil every year thru 2028. Love it.

Is that including what the Marlins are still paying?

Although home town discounts are few and far between, I could see Judge giving the Yankems one.

That is one heckuva insight. You could very easily be wrong, but in your favor is the fact that the Yankees drafted him, he's already made a lot of money ($40M), the Yankees have a very rich tradition, including great home run hitters and WS titles, the new Yankees stadium is homer heaven, and Aaron Judge may just be that rare player who isn't worried about the size of his . . . . . . . . contract.

Long bottom of the 1st, of which I missed everything except the 2d out and K and the 3d out.

Was Wacha missing his spots, throwing weak stuff, what?

Couple of weak bloop hits to the OF. His stuff looks good.

The double was off a 91 mph four seamer about waist high.

The weak grounder was off a cutter which followed a changeup, two cutters and a sinker.

Lucky hit for Raffy, but aided by the Rays computer telling their centerfielder to play him deep.

Story swings at two non-strikes, possibly because he simply didn't notice that Patino's a little wild.
