The strength of the Red Sox batting order seems to have disappeared after the Vazquez trade. Guys like Arroyo and Verdugo still seem to be in there for the Sox

Ok, I will have nothing but positive encouragement for the overall team... Matt Barnes just ruined my reclamation project of him, but not all are salvable .

My first act as PC would be to send Barnes to a cardiolgist to see if he did or did not have a heart.

 

The second act would be to use audio-visuals to impress upon the Sox pitchers that 2 outs does not make a full inning.

As good as Devers is, he gets himself out swinging at balls.

At the risk of being thrown off the site, Devers is not quite the hitter people make him out to be. He has no sense of when a base hit is all that is need, not a 500' flyball.
