At the risk of being thrown off the site, Devers is not quite the hitter people make him out to be. He has no sense of when a base hit is all that is need, not a 500' flyball.

I'm surprised opposing pitchers throw anything close to the plate with him. He doesn't walk very much and swings out of his shoes on each swing

But not as much as in the NFL and the NBA, but very rare in the NHL. In the NHL there's a whole lotta 'WE.'

All Rafi needs to do is learn what Ortiz not only learned but implemented. Neither one and most LH hitters cannot hit the high and tight. Often cannot even put a bat to it. Once Ortiz learned to lay off it, he became a monster.

There actually is a team in MLB. Its called "The MLB Players Association". Now I grant they have a hard time putting that across the front of a jersey. But that is the team.
