A. Davis (0-1) vs M.Perez (1-2)

Looks like we got us a BP game. I'm not expecting 6 innings from Davis.

And, hopefully, the Rangers won't get 6 innings from former SOX alumnus Perez.

Go SOX!

Sox need to keep doing what they have been doing the last two nights. Beat up on the weak teams like Texas . And build some winning momentum . Some confidence . And hope it carries over against the better clubs.

I believe I'll play something by THE DOORS. Yup, the LA WOMAN cd.

An absolute favorite in the Notin household…

The Doors released 7 studio albums during Jim's time with them and, imho, they are all classics.

Robby Krieger was The Doors' secret weapon. He's an excellent guitarist and wrote most of their 'hits' including Light My Fire.

Devers' RBI are being held down because the SOX don't have a decent lead-off batter.

Nope, haven't had a good one since '18 when Mookie won the batting crown. Of the current crew, it should be noted that Verdugo hit .304 with a .362 OBP at leadoff in half the games during the 2020 summer.

The best way for Devers to drive in runs is to bat the Sox other .300 hitters in front of him: X and JD. Unfortunately, the rest of the line-up hovers near the Mendoza...

might be one of the very few times the name Martin Perez and shutout appear in the same sentence. Why does that man's name ring a bell?

Figured I could jinx him. Nice hitting by Rafael.

I do know that the name Quasimodo rings a bell.

Law of averages lied to me.

That may have been the softest line drive in history. The SS actually had to wait on it to reach him.

Nice to get back to a lineup with 4 guys sub Mendoza line and Arroyo at exactly the line, until his next AB.

Well at least he didn't K. He's currently 5th in the AL in strike outs. 180 million doesn't buy much anymore.

I don't know which player exudes more confidence. Bra Man on the mound or Dalbec at the plate.

Those two are a dynamic duo. Dalbec is dead meat in a month or so. Brasier just doesn't have anything strong enough to get the outs

Why is Brasier still on this team? (Oh right. I forgot. We need to keep under the cap!)
