But I would not have brought in Story ( regardless of production) to rip a hole in the team, full well knowing the fire sale is more likely than not by August 2 ( the 2022 trade deadline)

Good question, but Dalbec was the last batter at the plate to make an out, so he becomes the ghost runner. Plus it's good that Bobby gets on 2nd in case he forgets where it is.
