Pivetta averaged 92.5 on his fastball today and topped out at 94. Last year, he averaged 94.8.

On a team with a questionable starting staff , along with injuries, you would think that the bullpen would need to be exceptional and durable . Instead the 2 guys who are most needed to excel (Barnes/Taylor) are of no help.

This will be a 82-80 season if it doesn't rain much

Maybe the Sox can get more runs the next time through the order. Apparently, a lot of this pitcher's value comes from his arm slot that causes batters to swing underneath his FB (see: Story). His secondary pitches aren't great, so maybe they can adjust.

Imho, next to Devers, Dugo is the best SOX hitter. I doubt that will change going forward.

Fully agreed. The 2 run add-on vs Sawamura wasn't a whole lot and the hitters can still score 7 runs to win
