At least Arroyo didn't injure himself.

Isn't that 3 he has had fall in front of him in RF so far this young season?

Maybe Cora should just leave JBJ in RF period. At least we would know that if JBJ couldn't catch it, nobody could.

I think Kiké has more range these days. He can't play CF and RF at the same time though.

I don't think JBJ even catches that bloop.

The bigger deal with Arroyo is that his split against LHP may not be a big enough difference maker to keep JBJ out of the lineup.

Whatever. Someday we'll be like "remember when they through Arroyo out there in RF? What a world."

Ball game. All the damage done off that 88 mph fastball. I apologize for saying this in the 3d inning, but this Sox team ain't in a hitting mood.

The JBJ trade looks worse everyday. He has to platoon, and there is no regular OF to takes his place. This is all on Bloom.

Maybe not. RF is the short field in Comerica. Arroyo's speed in the OF grass has not been impressive. Running in the OF is not running in the IF or even running the bases. JD can't run in the OF grass either. JBJ gets good jumps (best in baseball) and he can run in the OF grass. Verdugo can and Hernandez can as well.

I think JBJ catches both.

He definitely gets the first one. Arroyo got the tip of his glove to it.

Hard to say on the second one, but it also would not been needed had the first one been caught.

JBJ may not have played as deep as Arroyo. The point is JBJ is a professional OF'r and Arroyo isn't.

Don't the Sox coaches align the players?
