Just weird. No other word for it. ERod and McHugh, both of whom got hit in game 1--ERod gave up 2 runs and McHugh3--pitch 2 1/2 scoreless inning. In comes the ace, McClanahan, who humbled the Sox with 5 scoreless innings in game 1, who gives up 5 runs in 2/3 of an inning tonight.

 

ERod looked awful in game 1, but moonslav reminded us he has been good at times this this year, especially in August and September. On Sep 2 he went 6 at the Trop and gave up 0 runs.

 

Sox have one heckuva lineup. Devers with a bad wrist or whatever is like JDM with the bad ankle--dangerous.

Sometimes, a nagging ailment forces a player to focus on doing just what he can to contribute. Swings can be more contained, zoning only specific pitches you can barrel, out of necessity.
