It sux that the mediocre Angels waited until after Aug 31st to release Iggy.

That was an odd decision but stemmed from them bringing up a Sept 1 roster expander and then Maddon telling Iglesias that the new guy would be playing. Iggy said FU, Joe and the GM then DFA'ed him.

Anyone who says FU Joe Maddon is a friend of mine. Great move by Bloom in grabbing Iggy.

I'm not much of a Joe Maddon fan either. Iggy has definitely impressed at 2b. Too bad it will be Arroyo in the postseason.

The Mets have 2 SS's in Lindor and Baez. Would anyone here rather have either one of them to replace Bogey? I vote no.

Lindor would be a hitting machine in Fenway and his glove is way better than X's

Excuse me! Excuse me?

Who wants a stinking hitting SS? This entire site has griped most of the season about Bogey's defense, so let's get rid of him.

Good GM's know that defense is what wins games. Hitters are a dime a dozen.

He better be as good as God, 10 yr $341M....doubtful Jesus ever made that kind of money.

Lindor does have good offensive numbers prior to 2020. And Fenway is definitely more hitter friendly than Citi Field. But Bogey has intangibles that work well with the SOX.

Btw, the SOX did win 108 games not too long ago with the 'limited' range Bogey at SS.

Don't know why Cora is removing Rchards. Is this another case of over-managing?

It is if Hernandez walks the first guy he sees
